In Province, you and a friend will be in charge of founding and developing a new town, competing to see which founding family reigns supreme! The goal is to expand the territory by building everything a town needs: from farms and banks to smithies and harbors. Each construction impacts resource generation, but beware! The town has a shared worker pool, and your opponent might just snatch that worker right when you need them most. Managing these workers and the generated resources (labor and coin) is key to building the right structures, completing objectives, and, of course, accumulating more victory points than your opponent.
It's a pure two-player strategy game where every decision counts. You need to wisely plan your moves on the action rondel, anticipating your opponent's plays and optimizing the construction of your part of the town. With quick games and a manageable complexity, Province is a great choice for those who enjoy a good, no-nonsense strategic duel. Get ready for a fierce competition for provincial supremacy!
