About the game
What you do in a play session
Push Fight is a tense two‑player duel that lasts about 5 to 15 minutes, with the goal of shoving your opponent's piece off the board. Each player controls five pieces – three with square tops and two with spherical tops – placed on their own half of the board, white moving first. On your turn you may make up to two orthogonal moves with any pieces, sliding them any number of empty spaces, and then you must execute a one‑space push using one of your square‑topped pieces. That push moves both your own and the opponent's pieces, creating chains of pressure that can flip the board in a single action. After pushing you place a red anchor token on the piece that pushed, preventing it from being pushed on the opponent’s next turn. The board’s edges are ridged, so the only way to win is to push an enemy piece off either end. The blend of free movement and strategic pushes yields fast‑paced yet highly tactical games where every decision matters. Perfect for fans of abstract strategy who enjoy a physical, aggressive twist, Push Fight offers high replayability in short, intense sessions. Wooden components give the game an elegant look and satisfying feel. While the rules are easy to grasp, mastering board reading and anticipating your opponent’s reactions makes it a modern classic for casual duels or mini‑tournaments.
