Quoridor Junior

Quoridor Junior brings the classic mouse‑through‑a‑maze race to kids, but on a smaller board (7×7 instead of the adult 9×9). Each player controls a mouse that must reach the opposite side of the board. On your turn you may either move the mouse one space or place a blocker—a wall that stops an opponent’s path. The trick is timing the blockers: they can delay your rival, but if you’re not careful they might also block your own route. Games are quick (about 10 minutes) and the low weight (1.4/5) makes it easy for children 6+ while still being enjoyable for adults who like a tidy dose of simple strategy. Bright components and large pieces keep younger players engaged, and the Grid Movement mechanic plus a few steps‑ahead thinking give enough depth for seasoned gamers.
