About the game

What you do in a play session

Set sail and become a fearsome pirate captain in Rattle, Battle, Grab the Loot! Your mission? Navigate the seas, find merchant ships laden with treasure, and plunder as much as you can. But a respectable pirate needs more than just loot: you'll also need to hire a clever crew, upgrade your ship with awesome enhancements, and perhaps even please the Pirate King with some of your spoils to gain prestige.

The core of the fun lies in dice rolling, but it's done differently here! Instead of just hoping for a number, you'll shake the dice in the game box, and where they land, along with the symbols rolled, will determine the success of your battle against merchant and other ships. Each roll is a surprise, and the scenario deck ensures no two games are alike. After the battle, it's time to return to port to spend your earnings: improve your ship with physical pieces that uniquely customize your vessel, hire new sailors, or deliver your goods to the Pirate King in exchange for favor.

With dozens of pieces to customize your ship and special items and crew members that will make your vessel stand out, Rattle, Battle, Grab the Loot offers a pirate experience full of action and light strategy. The captain who accumulates the most favor from the Pirate King by the end of the game claims the glory! It's a game with a touch of humor and lots of fun for those who enjoy the corsair life.
