About the game
What you do in a play session
Prepare for an epic adventure in the grim universe of Warhammer 40,000 with Relic! In this game, you and up to three friends take on the roles of powerful heroes, each with their unique abilities, to protect the Antian Sector from an imminent threat. The mission is clear: complete tasks, defeat enemies, and accumulate experience to become the champion who will stop the evil lurking beyond the Warp rift.
Inspired by the classic Talisman, Relic combines the simplicity of rolling a die to move with surprising depth. Each turn, you roll a die and decide whether to move clockwise or counter-clockwise through the board's regions – outer, middle, or inner. What happens next is where the magic (or chaos) unfolds: you draw cards that might pit you against dangers, unexpected allies, or breathtaking challenges. With every step, your heroes grow stronger, and the race to the center of the board, where ultimate evil awaits, intensifies. It's a journey full of seemingly simple choices that hide a sea of strategic possibilities. Relic is perfect for those who enjoy adventure games with a sci-fi twist and a dash of luck, where your character's development is as important as the roll of the dice.
