About the game
What you do in a play session
Get ready for claustrophobic combat deep within Calth in The Horus Heresy: Betrayal at Calth! This game throws you headfirst into a brutal invasion by the Word Bearers against the Ultramarines, focusing on tactical squad battles in tight tunnels. With six exciting missions, you choose your side and command super-detailed Citadel miniatures in a desperate fight for survival. It's one of those iconic Horus Heresy battles that every Warhammer fan loves! The box is packed with incredible miniatures, including a Terminator Captain, a Contemptor Dreadnought, and various Space Marines and Terminators that you can customize with different weapons. The setting consists of four double-sided boards representing the dark caverns of Calth. To guide you, there's a rulebook and scenario book, plus reference and command cards that add twists and turns. And of course, dice and tokens to complete the package! The miniatures come unassembled, so get your glue and brushes ready, as painting is essential to distinguish the armies. If you enjoy a good wargame with miniatures and a strong theme, this one is for you. It's a two-player game, fast-paced and action-packed, perfect for those who want to dive into the Warhammer 40k universe without much fuss. The language dependency is moderate, but with translated cards, the fun is guaranteed.
