About the game

What you do in a play session

In a not-so-distant future, a meteor shower has transformed Earth into a wasteland. Civilization, as we know it, has turned to dust, and the few survivors have gathered in city ruins, attempting to rebuild. Years have passed, and these new communities have flourished, but resources are dwindling. Infrastructure is precarious, and the population is growing, forcing everyone to venture into the dangerous Wastelands, a place once uninhabitable. There, ruins hide valuable resources, but also unknown dangers. Scarcity and distrust among emerging factions have created an inevitable conflict. Now, the race is on to gather resources, expand, and develop technologies as quickly as possible, aiming for total domination. In Rise of the Wastelands, you lead one of four unique factions, starting from your capital to explore a dynamically generated map. Discover new areas, establish outposts to recycle materials, and use these resources to construct buildings and units. Upgrade your technology to gain a strategic advantage, complete ever-changing achievements, and spread your influence to rule over other players. The goal is simple: be the first to spread at least 5 of your influence tokens among opponents. If more than one player reaches this mark, whoever has distributed more influence tokens claims victory. Gameplay is fluid, with no fixed rounds or phases. Players take turns until someone claims their fifth achievement, and then the remaining players get one more turn. On your turn, you allocate influence, perform actions, claim achievements, and reset your action points. Prepare for a strategic clash for survival and domination!
