About the game
What you do in a play session
If you're a fan of classic video game roguelikes, get ready: Rogue Dungeon 2nd Edition is exactly the adrenaline rush you've been looking for. Originally a solo-play darling, this new edition has expanded its horizons, now allowing up to three adventurers to face the danger together. The experience is pure old-school nostalgia, where every decision matters and the luck of the dice can be either your best friend or your worst enemy.
The heart of the game beats through hand management and strategic dice rolling. You will explore dungeon levels that seem endless, encountering treacherous traps and monsters that couldn't care less about your survival plans. But it's not all suffering! Along your journey, you'll find treasures, epic weapons, magical potions, and artifacts that can turn the tide in your favor. As you gain experience, your hero evolves, allowing you to refine skills and trade items to build a truly formidable inventory.
What makes this 2nd edition so special? Well, it didn't come to play. In addition to new heroes (bringing the total to 10!) with custom meeples, the game has received a massive visual upgrade and much more robust components, swapping out cardstock mats for actual game boards. And there's more: the 'Tomb' expansion is included, bringing new maps, sinister bosses, and even cursed loot to keep your sessions unpredictable. Whether playing solo or with friends, the challenge of defeating the final boss will always require you to perfectly balance strategy, resources, and, of course, a bit of luck.
