About the game

What you do in a play session

Roll and Rails is a roll‑and‑write game that will put your brain into railway logistics mode. You step into the shoes of a railway entrepreneur, building routes, investing in locomotives, and trying to transport as many goods as possible. The game runs in quick rounds where each player rolls a set of dice and chooses which values to use to place trains on the map, buy upgrades, or ship cargo. With each action you accumulate resources that can be exchanged for victory points or further expansion of your network. The Pick‑up and Deliver mechanic comes into play when you decide to ship goods from one port to another, and each successful delivery earns money and points. If you enjoy solo play, Roll and Rails also offers a solo variant that keeps the challenge alive without the pressure of competing against friends. The components are simple: colored dice, train tokens, and a map board that you can print at home, thanks to the Print & Play option. The game promises fun in 20 to 60 minutes, depending on how many players hop on the race for the most lucrative rail network. If you love light strategy, logistics, and a dash of randomness, this game is for you. Get ready to put your hand on the wheel (or the dice piece) and see who will dominate the iron roads!
