In Athens Alone, your goal is to guide Athens to its zenith, resisting Spartan efforts to surpass it. It's a solo game that challenges you to make strategic decisions in about 20 to 40 minutes.

You'll have 15 turns to cleverly use your three dice, allocating them to cards to activate powerful effects. Imagine yourself earning gold, ideas, citizens, and, most importantly, acquiring new cards from the Agora. These cards are the key to unlocking increasingly potent effects, allowing you to build a glorious Athens. But don't forget about Sparta! Each turn, the rival city accumulates victory points based on half the result of your dice roll, so you need to be smarter. Use the periodic bonuses and the influence of your deity to ensure Athens shines brighter than its adversary and achieves ultimate glory.
