About the game
What you do in a play session
Step back into the 1960s and immerse yourself in the vibrant world of the historic Salt Road, a mountain trail once bustling with merchants, travelers, and daily life. In Salt Road, you take on the role of merchants and carriers, transporting precious loads of salt across the slopes of Mount Panetoliko. This cooperative game for 1 to 4 players is divided into 12 rounds, each with three phases: Travel, Action, and Reset. In the Travel phase, players roll a die and move to the next location. In the Action phase, they trade salt for goods to earn points. In the Reset phase, they recover their used action tokens and move on to the next round. After 12 rounds, players reach the end of the road and tally their points. Will you manage to store enough salt to survive the harsh winter?
