About the game

What you do in a play session

In the world of Savage Bowl, the competition is as chaotic as it is fun. You step onto a field where the rule is simple: win the exact number of tricks that the deck dictates for your group. But don’t think it’s just about playing cards; the referee keeps an eye on every move and can issue yellow cards that make you miss the next round. The first half of the game has a touch of discipline: whoever plays the highest card receives the lowest card of the trick, and whoever gets the yellow card sits out the next round. When the second half kicks in, the rule is that nothing is under control anymore – the referee stops applying yellows and the contest becomes freer. The deck has five suits numbered 1 to 13 and a trump suit numbered 1 to 8, each with its own set of cards that can change the game dynamics. The ultimate goal is simple: accumulate exactly the number of tricks the deck indicates. If you fail, your team loses points. Savage Bowl blends the adrenaline of a sports game with the tactics of a trick-taking game, creating an experience that requires both luck and strategy. It’s a candidate to be one of the most thrilling and memorable games for your friend group, where every play can turn the tide.
