About the game
What you do in a play session
In 1880, Sherlock Holmes forms a street‑kid squad — the Baker Street Irregulars — to act as his unofficial police force. The Baker Street Irregulars puts you and your crew (1‑8 players) in the shoes of these young investigators, tasked with solving ten cases ranging from kidnappings to murders. Each case provides a foggy London map, character cards, newspapers, testimonies, and a guidebook with questions you must answer after the investigation. The game is fully cooperative: you walk the streets, gather clues, debate theories, and when you think you have enough evidence, you fill out the questionnaire to see if you match Sherlock’s own conclusions. Deduction and narrative‑choice mechanics let you explore multiple paths, while the rich storytelling keeps the Victorian atmosphere alive with every turned page. Introductory cases ease newcomers in, while later scenarios add twists and higher difficulty for veteran sleuths. With an average playtime of 90 minutes, the game blends cerebral investigation with thematic immersion, requiring only paper, pen, and a healthy dose of curiosity. Perfect for mystery‑themed family evenings or friend groups who love a good crime story.
