Get your silver coin ready, because your village is under siege! In Silver Coin, you aren't building an empire; you're just trying to survive a pack of hungry werewolves. The twist? These monsters are hidden right inside your own cards! Each card represents a villager, and the number on it tells you exactly how many werewolves that character attracts. Sounds like a nightmare? Don't worry, that's where the fun begins.
The goal is straightforward but tricky: you want to be the player with the lowest werewolf score when the round ends. To achieve this, you'll manage your hand, utilizing the unique special abilities of each character to clean up your village or mess with your neighbors. On your turn, you draw from the deck or discard pile and decide whether to trigger a card's power or use it to replace your face-down cards. But watch out: if you try to swap multiple cards claiming they have the same number and you're wrong, you'll face a penalty!
The real tension peaks when you decide to call for a vote. If you believe you've cleared your village and have fewer werewolves than everyone else, it's time to strike! But don't get too cocky: once you call the vote, every other player gets one final turn to attempt to save their own village. It's a game of bluffing, risk management, and a healthy dose of chaos. It's fast-paced, intense, and perfect for players who love card games that are easy to learn but keep you on the edge of your seat trying not to get eaten.
