About the game

What you do in a play session

Silver Dagger is the fourth installment in the Silver series, a line of fast-paced and characterful card games. Each player starts with five face-down cards but can peek at two of them — and that's where the strategy begins. Cards range from 0 to 13, representing how many werewolves are lurking around your village, and each number comes with a unique power. On your turn, you draw a card from the deck or discard pile and choose to: use its power (if from the deck), discard it unused, or swap it with one of your hidden cards. Watch out for the multiple-swap rules — get it wrong, and you’ll face a penalty! Zombies are the trickiest to handle: they can’t be easily discarded and must be face-up to pass along. Among the new characters, highlights include Zombie #4, which can flip the game’s direction, and the Debt Collector, which saps points from opponents. Like all Silver games, you can call for a vote when you think you have the fewest werewolves — but others get one last chance to sabotage you. Best part? You can mix cards from other Silver games to craft your custom deck!
