About the game
Skytear delivers the rush of MOBAs to the tabletop, but ditching dice for card‑based tactics. The game gathers 32 heroes, each with a set of power cards that mirror their unique abilities. At the start, players draft heroes from four factions in an open draft, making every game feel fresh as the draft shapes your deck. The action then unfolds on a modular board split into three lanes: left, right, and center, where the enemy tower sits. Players spend action points to move miniatures, call minions, cast spells, or use special abilities. Victory can be any of three objectives chosen before play: destroy the central tower, control the central lane, or capture the battle’s heart. The balance between deckbuilding and drafting is what keeps Skytear deep—cards that are potent when played often carry a cost or negative effect that can be mitigated by picking the right hero. With two maps, 65 power cards, and a visual style inspired by League of Legends, the game offers intense, strategic combat with high replayability. If you love card‑based strategy, MOBAs, and collectibles, Skytear will blow you away.

Average playtime: 45 min. Players: 2‑4. Complexity: medium‑high, as card management and hero choice demand constant focus. Components: modular board, 32 miniatures, over 65 power cards, action point tokens, influence markers. Perfect for fans of strategy, MOBAs, and collectables.

The game was crowdfunded on Kickstarter and has digital versions on Tabletopia for easy practice and strategy discovery.
