About the game

What you do in a play session

Solacia: The Wizard of Doom places you in command of a party of heroes—a warrior, a thief, an elf, and a mage—who must confront the dreaded Wizard of Doom. The setting unfolds over a campaign of five missions, each chosen randomly to keep the experience fresh and unpredictable. You navigate hexagonal maps, moving your units, attacking monsters, casting spells, and interacting with chests and shrines. Combat requires careful line‑of‑sight and positioning, while dice rolls determine the success of attacks and spells. Among the creatures you’ll face are giant spiders, hornets, skeletons, ghosts, ice ogres, and, of course, dragons. The game tests your resource management, route planning between multiple maps, and survival in challenging scenarios. Though a solo game, its engaging narrative and mission variety ensure each adventure is unique, with choices that can alter the story’s course. If you enjoy strategic adventures, combat challenges, and high replayability, Solacia delivers an immersive experience that blends epic fantasy with solid board‑game mechanics.
