About the game
What you do in a play session
In this game, you take command of the brave defenders of Polish Postal Office No. 1, facing relentless attacks from the Danzig Schutzpolizei and German SS units. Your objective is to recreate this historic feat, enduring the day-long siege and protecting both postal workers and non-combatants. Your final score reflects how many of these brave souls survived the assault, so every life counts!
The game is divided into three attack periods, each represented by a deck of enemy cards, simulating the morning, midday, and evening assaults. Each phase presents its own challenges: the initial Schutzpolizei attack on the rear of the building, followed by a frontal assault with armored vehicle and artillery support from SS units, and culminating in the final SS attack, which only ends when the building is set ablaze with gasoline. Each turn unfolds in enemy, defense, clearing, and, in the final phase, an escape phase. Prepare to make crucial tactical decisions and relive a moment of pure resilience!
