About the game

What you do in a play session

If you're looking for a quick, intense, and visually stunning duel, Spirits of the Wild: Awakening is your next obsession. In a two-player battle, you take on the role of spiritual beings trying to collect colorful stones from a central bowl to gift to your animals. The goal is simple but the execution requires strategy: you need to complete sets of stones on your animal boards to accumulate points. But don't think it's just about picking and storing, oh no! You'll use action tiles to manipulate what enters and leaves the bowl, activate powerful spirit cards that can shift the game's course, and of course, use the cunning Coyote to block your opponent just when they're about to shine. And watch out: there are iridescent spirit stones that can double your score, but beware, they close out your animal board as soon as they are placed. It's a game of quick decisions where timing is everything. The game ends when five of these special stones are removed from the bag, and whoever has accumulated the most points wins. It's a compact game, perfect for those moments when you want something deep without needing three hours of explanation.
