Splito, released in 2022, is a card game that blends strategy, social interaction, and a dash of pure madness. The goal is straightforward: be the sole player to finish with the highest score, but the path to victory is full of twists. Each game starts with 13 cards in every player’s hand – half are value cards, the other half are objectives you must satisfy in the zones between you and your neighbors. On each turn, all players pick a card simultaneously (thanks to the Simultaneous Action Selection mechanic) and place it between you and either your left or right neighbor. If you put an objective card in a zone, the condition of that objective must be met for it to activate. After 13 rounds, you check which zones have fulfilled their objectives and multiply the points from the zone on your left by the points from the zone on your right. The trick is balancing both scores – winning big on one side and nothing on the other can ruin your total multiplication. Closed Drafting means every choice is private, so you have to read what others are doing without knowing exactly what’s in their hands. Neighbor Scope ensures that actions only affect those next to you, creating temporary alliances and instant rivalries. The game is quick (15–20 minutes per session), supports 3 to 8 players, and has a surprise factor that makes the finish always unpredictable. If you enjoy games that require card reading, social negotiation, and a touch of pure math, Splito is your next challenge.
