About the game
What you do in a play session
Imagine the scene: an ancient castle, mysterious stairs, and a grumpy ghost perched at the top. You and your friends are brave children who decided to creep up those steps on tiptoe to give the specter a classic jump scare — BOOO! However, the ghost is one step ahead and has cast a spell on the stairs to transform the intruders into ghosts themselves, one by one.
In practice, the game is a frantic and funny race. You roll an enchanted die to climb the steps, but if you roll the ghost symbol, things get interesting: you can place a ghost piece over another player's pawn. Thanks to a magnetic system, the pawn 'disappears' beneath the ghost piece. From that point on, the real challenge begins. You must remember exactly which of those ghostly figures is hiding your pawn while continuing your ascent.
If all players have been transformed and someone rolls the ghost again, the chaos increases, as two ghosts can switch places, scrambling everyone's memory. It is the kind of game where tension builds with every move, mixing the luck of the die with total concentration to avoid getting lost. Whoever manages to navigate through this chaos and reach the top of the stairs first wins the match. It is simple, fast, and perfect for introducing children to the world of board games with tactile and fun components.
