About the game
What you do in a play session
In a world of intrigue and secret operations, two elite squads, C.A.T. and B.I.R.D., clash in Spy Team, a trick-taking game for four players, played in two-person teams. The premise is simple, but the execution demands cunning: each spy team must prove its worth by completing a series of missions, but communication between partners is strictly forbidden during the game. It's all about silent trust and coordination!
At the start of each round, players receive a hand of cards that cannot be reordered. The trick? You can only play cards from either end of your hand, and while the card's color is visible to everyone, its number remains a secret to opponents. Each turn, players play a card to try and win the trick, aiming for synchronicity with their partner while trying to guess what the opposing team is planning. Each mission has a specific trick objective that the pair needs to achieve, such as winning 1 and 5 tricks, 2 and 4, or 3 and 3. A round ends as soon as a team completes its current mission or, even more cruelly, prevents the opposing team from completing theirs. The first team to complete all three of their secret missions is crowned the best spy team and wins the game. Get ready for bluffs, deductions, and plenty of tension with every play!
