About the game

What you do in a play session

Grab your telescope and a pencil, because the sky is ready for exploration! Star Explorer is the international version of a sensation from Essen 2024: Night Sky Explorers. After selling out instantly, Queen Games stepped in to bring this astronomical journey to a global audience, featuring updated artwork and premium components while preserving the exact gameplay that made the original Lucrum Games version a hit.

In this game, you step into the shoes of an astronomy enthusiast spending hours gazing at the cosmos. Your mission is clear but demands precision: you'll receive cards representing famous constellations and must mark them on a rotating map, adhering to specific astronomical rules. The real challenge lies in tracing the correct stars in their proper locations—just be careful not to let the massive constellations overshadow the smaller ones!

You'll manage your own board to record your findings. Points are awarded for correctly identifying the stars within a constellation and for placing them in the right spots on the map. It's a game of precision, where line drawing and spatial management are key. Do you have what it takes to map the heavens perfectly and earn the title of true Night Sky Explorer? If you enjoy paper-and-pencil games that blend relaxation with logical challenges, Star Explorer is your next cosmic destination!
