About the game
What you do in a play session
Ignite your lightsabers and gather your allies, because the galaxy is in turmoil! In Star Wars: The Clone Wars, you and your friends step into the boots of legendary Jedi Masters on a desperate mission to halt the Separatist Army's advance. If you've played any title from the Pandemic series, you'll feel right at home: the logic of 'stopping the bleed' while trying to solve a global crisis is here, but now infused with the Power of the Force.
The game board is filled with planets under siege. The biggest challenge is that battle droids just keep coming. If you let too many of them accumulate on a single world, that planet falls under a blockade, making liberation significantly harder and stalling your mission progress. To win, the group must coordinate every move, utilizing action points to travel between systems, clear droid hordes, and face off against iconic villains who appear just to mess up your plans.
Combat isn't just about luck; you'll manage squad cards and roll icon-based dice to deal damage and push back the threat. Each Jedi brings unique abilities to the table, making the strategy of who goes where absolutely critical. It's the kind of game where tension ramps up every round: can we clear the sector before the next droid outbreak occurs? If you can complete the missions and crush the blockades in time, victory belongs to the Jedi. If not, the galaxy falls to the Separatists. May the Force be with you!
