In Terracotta Army, we are transported to Ancient China, right after the death of Emperor Qin Shi Huang. Our mission? To build the legendary Terracotta Army to protect him in the afterlife. You and your friends take on the roles of talented craftsmen and artists, working together to bring these magnificent statues to life. The game is a race for victory points, where every decision counts to become the supreme master builder.
Over five rounds, you will collect essential resources, upgrade your workers, and seek favor with the Emperor's influential advisors. The core mechanic involves worker placement, where each worker type has unique abilities, adding an interesting strategic layer. You will use your warrior miniatures to form groups within the mausoleum, and the cool thing is that a single group can contain warriors from multiple players, identified by their colored bases.
Scoring is an art in Terracotta Army, and you'll have many chances to shine. 'Domination' occurs when you are the only player with the most of a specific resource or statue type currently being scored. 'Presence,' on the other hand, is simpler: just having at least one of these items guarantees you some points. At the end of the fifth round, the artisan with the most victory points is crowned the grand winner, and the Emperor's legacy will be safe... thanks to you!
