About the game
In Tianxia, you are transported to China in 260 BCE, during the turbulent Warring States Period. Seven powerful kingdoms clash in constant conflict, while the threat of the Xiongnu nomads looms over the northern borders. You take on the role of a noble family leader, tasked with accumulating prestige and gaining the favor of local rulers. In each of the four rounds, your actions shape the region's destiny. You will appoint governors to the provinces, strengthening the influence of royal houses and earning valuable favors. Furthermore, trade is vital: sell goods to merchant ships sailing along the Chinese coast to accumulate wealth and strategic benefits. But don't forget the imminent danger! Nomadic warriors advance each round, and it is your responsibility to train soldiers and erect walls and towers to contain them, protecting your interests and the populace. These defenses not only weaken the invaders but also bring prestige to your family. In the end, the player who best balances the roles of governor, politician, merchant, and protector will be crowned the winner, demonstrating that true leadership is multifaceted.
