The Charge: The Light Brigade at Balaclava is a solitaire game that recreates the famous charge of the Light Brigade during the Battle of Balaclava in 1854. Split into two interconnected games, you take on the role of Lord Raglan, the British commander, trying to avert historical disaster. In the first game, you manage the battle, moving troops with command cards and attempting to minimize damage before the inevitable charge. In the second game, you lead the charge itself, where every decision could be the difference between victory and defeat. With mechanics like area movement, dice rolling, and push-your-luck, the game offers an intense and challenging strategic experience.
