About the game
What you do in a play session
Strap on your Rad Suit and fire up your Rig, but beware the Tox! In The Dead Eye, you take on the role of a lone thermo-bandit whose ship has crashed on a hostile, remote planet. Your mission is clear: find the next safe haven before hope and strength run out. Who knows, maybe you'll even find a way off this desolate rock! This is a single-player adventure card game where each card represents an Encounter with two possible outcomes: Good or Bad. A Bad Outcome is triggered by the buildup of dangerous 'Heat', while a Good Outcome is triggered by the buildup of valuable 'Juice'.
You start with a draw deck containing six Juice cards and six Heat cards. As you progress, some of these cards will raise your Heat and Juice levels, while others will be used as the Encounter itself. You'll need to manage your deck and resources wisely to face dangers, salvage useful parts, and ultimately reach a safe haven. The game includes a 12-page prelude comic book, a 20-page rulebook, a double-sided foldable game board, two pairs of stereoscopic 3D glasses (and one 'hook-behind' pair), and 54 unique cards. Prepare for a tense and strategic survival journey!
