About the game

What you do in a play session

Get ready for some serious laughs with The Game of Things, a party game that tests your memory and your ability to guess what your friends are thinking! The concept is straightforward: one player acts as the reader for the round and draws a card with a topic, like "Things you shouldn't put in your mouth" or "Things that make you feel awkward." Then, everyone secretly writes down a response to that topic, folds the paper, and hands it to the reader. The reader reads all the responses aloud, twice, and then the real fun begins! The player to the reader's left has to guess who wrote what, all from memory, without taking notes and without hearing the responses again. If they guess correctly, they keep guessing. If they get it wrong, the turn passes to the next player. Players whose responses were correctly guessed are out of the guessing part of the round. Those who avoid detection score bonus points! The reader role rotates each round, and the game concludes once everyone has had a turn as the reader. It's pure fun for large groups, perfect for breaking the ice and ensuring plenty of laughter. Don't worry about complexity; the focus is on the silliness and sharp memory!
