About the game

What you do in a play session

In The Grand Trunk Journey, players are invited to step into the shoes of railway managers, tasked with delivering a variety of goods to key cities and ports across Eastern Canada and the U.S. Picture a map with 12 cities and 4 ports eagerly awaiting your cargo! To make the magic happen, we use cards that represent both railway equipment and the locations we can reach. The core idea is to move our train between these strategic points to pick up and deliver goods that are either in high demand or oversupply.

But it's not just about getting there; efficiency is the name of the game. Each train movement is recorded on a 'time track,' which essentially shows how many days we're spending on each action. Whoever is cleverest at optimizing these movements and delivering the right goods at precisely the right time will gain a huge advantage. It's a logistical and planning challenge that will test your ability to manage resources and time. The Grand Trunk Journey is the first title in 'The Griffintown: Series #1,' which already makes us curious to see what else is in store. Who will be the most successful railway tycoon?
