Get ready for a sweet and strategic adventure with "The Honey Bear Family"! In this game, you and your bear family will embark on a mission to explore the forest in search of the most promising beehives. The goal is simple: find the hives hidden among the forest cards and ensure they are surrounded by the largest number of bees possible. Each turn is an opportunity to be a forest detective: you can secretly peek at two forest cards. Then, the decision is yours: put them back in place, face up, or turn them face down and place one of your observation tokens. But beware, you can even give a little 'help' by stating the type of card you saw (even if it's a lie!).
After this investigation, it's time to position one of your two bear pieces on a card that doesn't already have a guardian. At the end of the game, the scoring begins. Your bears on bee cards are worth nothing, but those on hive cards can yield a good score! The number of bees in the 8 cards around your bear and the hive's position in the tableau (central hives are worth less) will determine your earnings. "The Honey Bear Family" is a quick little game, perfect for those who enjoy a touch of bluffing and uncomplicated strategic planning. It's a great choice for families and for warming up before heavier games.
