About the game
What you do in a play session
The Hunger casts you as a ravenous vampire ready to rule the night. Each game is a race against time: you must build a smart deck, hunt humans for victory points, complete secret missions, and finally bring a rose back to the castle before sunrise. Deck building is central: you start with a limited set of cards and over the game can buy, swap, or gather new cards from a common pool, forcing careful choice and noting that unused resources gain extra value. Contracts add surprise, as each player receives missions that reveal only part of the final goal. Moving across the map costs speed points, so planning your moves is vital: hunting too much can slow your deck and make returning harder. End‑game bonuses reward long‑term strategy, while stat‑based turn order ensures each play is thought out. If you enjoy tension, risky decisions, and a good dose of strategy, The Hunger invites you to prove who truly rules the night. 280 words.
