About the game
Imagine waking up in a place where darkness is absolute and the only thing between you and pure panic is the flickering flame of a candle. In The Night Cage, you and your friends are lost souls trapped in a surreal and terrifying labyrinth. The goal seems straightforward: find keys, locate the exit gates, and escape together. But here is where it gets intense: your candle's light is extremely limited. You can only see what is immediately surrounding you.

The most cruel (and brilliant) mechanic of the game is that the map is ephemeral. As you move, the tiles left behind plunge back into darkness and are removed from the board. If you decide to double back the way you came, you won't find the same place; new paths will emerge, but the keys or gates you left behind may have vanished forever. It is a game of memory, coordination, and pure nervousness.

To make matters worse, you aren't alone. The 'Wax Eaters,' creatures that despise the light, lurk in the shadows waiting for the perfect moment to strike. Since the game is fully cooperative, communication is vital, but limited visibility makes everything harder. You will need to plan every step carefully, as a navigation error could mean the loss of an essential item or the sudden death of the group. It is an atmospheric horror experience where the map is both your greatest ally and your worst enemy, turning exploration into an exercise in survival under constant pressure.
