About the game
What you do in a play session
Get ready to relive the glory of Sir Sir Diamant in "The Story of Sir Diamant," a solo game that puts you in the shoes of the legendary knight. Using the same system as "Tournament: Classic Playing Card Game," but now against AI-controlled opponents, you'll tread the path that forged Sir Diamant's legend. The game is divided into six chapters, each representing a crucial tournament in his career. Your goal is to exactly replicate the number of wins Sir Diamant achieved in each of these tournaments. To play, you'll need a standard deck of playing cards and a printed game sheet (Print & Play style).
The mechanic is simple yet challenging: in each chapter, you play cards to try and match Sir Diamant's performance. If the number of wins you achieve differs from his, you'll have to discard "Plot Armor" to compensate for the difference. Each win more or less costs you a piece of this armor. If you run out of "Plot Armor" before completing the chapter, the story ends in defeat. To help you manage this situation, you have "Plot Holes" at your disposal, which must be used wisely to keep the narrative on track and avoid failure. If you manage to overcome all six chapters, faithfully recreating Sir Diamant's journey, victory will be yours! It's a quick experience, with games lasting between 15 and 20 minutes, perfect for those who enjoy a solo challenge with a medieval theme and card mechanics.
