About the game

What you do in a play session

Hey there, board game enthusiasts! Ready to manage the most peculiar inn in the wild west (or maybe just on the map)? In 'Ugly Gryphonn Inn', you're in charge of the only establishment for miles around. The catch? The clientele is... let's say, 'unique'. They're rowdy, rude, and have demands that would make a king throw in the towel. But hey, there's no escape: these patrons are your only hope of keeping the debt collectors at bay!

Your goal is straightforward, but the execution is tricky: get your guests settled into their rooms and ensure they all have a peaceful night's sleep. Each turn, you'll send a sleepy patron to their room and check if everything is calm. If someone's irked, they might stay awake and cause a ruckus. Keep an eye on each patron's needs to prevent chaos! Afterwards, you'll welcome more guests, keep the bar under control, and hope no trouble breaks out. There's never a dull moment!

The game ends when the deck of cards runs out. Then, you count how many patrons are actually staying in the inn (don't count those just at the bar, okay?). If you have 7 or more guests settled, you win, and the debt collectors will have to wait a bit longer. If you don't reach 7, well... maybe it's time to look for a new gig. It's a quick solo game, perfect for those who enjoy a strategic challenge in a short amount of time with minimal components. Ideal for taking anywhere!
