About the game
What you do in a play session
This is a solo wargame that employs a chit-pull system to dictate activations. Each round, a token is drawn from a bag, revealing which side (First Minnesota or Confederates) and which specific company will activate first. Tokens without a letter, but featuring a flag image, represent the colors and allow the company holding them to activate multiple times. Both you and the Confederates perform actions, with the order determined by the drawn token. First Minnesota activations allow for tactical movement, precise shooting, or melee attacks. The Confederates, controlled by the game, advance towards their objectives without directly attacking your units; any damage you sustain results from your own attacks and counter-attacks. The game continues until the scenario's victory or defeat conditions are met, immersing you in the intensity of these historical moments.
