Step back to the dawn of the 15th century in the paradise we now know as the Canary Islands. The catch? Conquistadors have just arrived, and the environment is far from peaceful. In Tindaya, you lead an aboriginal tribe fighting for survival in a world ruled by capricious gods and shaped by natural disasters. The game blends the strategic depth of a Eurogame with a theme-driven survival adventure, emphasizing environmental consciousness and tribal resilience.

The gameplay unfolds across three distinct phases: settling, progressing, and battling the invaders. However, the real challenge lies in the divine demands of the gods Acoran and Moneiba. They require specific goods at each stage; failure to provide them triggers their divine rage, bringing chaos to your people. To navigate this, players rely on two seers: Tibiabin, who predicts the type of disaster, and Tamonante, who reveals its location. Disaster markers placed on the modular board keep everyone on edge.

Tindaya is designed to fit any group's vibe. You can play in Cooperative mode (including a solo experience) to work together for survival, or Competitive mode, where solidarity points are awarded to those who contribute most to the community or optimize their resources. For those who enjoy a bit of mischief, the Traitor variant adds a layer of deception and "throat-cutting" gameplay. To ease the learning curve, the game includes a three-game mini-campaign, allowing newcomers to learn the mechanics gradually before diving into the full experience. Whether you're fighting together or against each other, the goal is to survive the clash of civilizations and the whims of the gods.
