In a future where dinosaurs and humans coexist, dinosaur ranching has become a booming business! In Tiny Epic Dinosaurs, you take on the role of an independent rancher, competing to breed and sell the largest and most impressive dinosaurs to theme parks. Get ready for a 1-4 player game, lasting 30 to 60 minutes, that blends worker placement, resource management, and a touch of prehistoric danger. Will your dino ranch be the most successful?
The game unfolds over six rounds, each divided into several crucial phases. First, you harvest resources that your dinosaurs haven't devoured. Then, it's time to put your ranchers to work! They can acquire new dinosaurs for your herd, upgrade your ranch's security and supplies, compete for valuable contracts, or research technologies and unique dinosaur breeds that offer special advantages. At the end of the day, your ranchers return, and you need to arrange your ranch to ensure each dino has a suitable enclosure. The feeding phase is critical: if a dinosaur isn't fed, it might escape, jeopardizing the safety of others and your ranch. Finally, the breeding phase allows you to grow your herd, provided you have properly enclosed pairs of dinosaurs. At the end of the game, victory points are awarded for dinosaurs, public and private contracts, and research developments. The rancher with the most victory points wins!
