Trailer

Trailer is a lively movie‑quiz that puts the silver screen front and center on the table. Up to 20 players split into four teams and, each turn, draw a card that contains a film title. The goal is to guess the title using as few hints as possible; the fewer clues needed, the farther the team moves along the board. Each board region represents a genre – comedy, drama, adventure, classic or thriller – and the path taken depends on the area the team occupies. Movement is point‑to‑point, so a correct answer can advance several spaces, bringing the team ever closer to the finish line. Because the game is cooperative within each team, members must pool their knowledge, discuss options and decide when it’s worth spending an extra hint. The open drafting of cards ensures all teams draw from the same pool, keeping the game balanced even with large groups. In roughly 40 minutes, the pace is brisk, the laughs are plentiful, and the friendly rivalry between teams makes Trailer a perfect pick for parties, movie‑buff gatherings, or family game nights. While it lacks an official complexity rating, the rules are simple enough for quiz newcomers to enjoy, yet the depth of cinematic knowledge can raise the challenge for seasoned fans.
