About the game
What you do in a play session
Get ready for TRICKTAKERs, a card game that blends the tension of trick-taking with the excitement of role selection! As soon as you receive your initial hand, the fun begins with the choice of unique characters, each with their own special rules that will shake things up. Forget the idea of an ordinary trick-taking game, because here each character can completely change your strategy and objectives.
The main goal is to dominate two out of three trick-taking rounds, but beware, as there are twists! If no one achieves this feat, a player who hasn't taken any tricks in all rounds might be the big winner. And it doesn't stop there: each character brings with them an immediate victory condition, a secret shortcut to glory that can end the game prematurely. If immediate victory doesn't happen, the final score decides who comes out on top, with characters offering creative ways to accumulate points.
Imagine the 'Gambler,' who can swap unwanted cards from their hand to try and predict how many tricks they'll win, earning bonuses if they guess correctly. Or the 'Resistance,' who can turn the game upside down with a 'revolution,' reversing card strength and scoring more by winning with cards that would normally be weak. TRICKTAKERs is a dynamic game where adaptation and reading your opponents are crucial, promising quick and surprising matches for those who enjoy a good card game with a touch of unpredictability.
