In Undaunted: Normandy, you are transported to the summer of 1944, just after D-Day, where Allied forces have established a foothold in Normandy. Your objective? Lead your troops deeper into France, pushing back the German forces. But don't expect a walk in the park: resistance will be fierce, with machine gun fire and mortar bombardments raining down. The key is to be a cunning commander, turning every challenging situation into a strategic advantage.
This is a deck-building game for two players, where you take command of American or German forces in a series of missions critical to the outcome of World War II. Your cards are your primary tool: use them to seize the initiative, bolster your units, or control your soldiers on the battlefield. Strong leadership can turn the tide of battle in your favor, but reckless decisions could prove catastrophic, as every casualty removes a card from your deck, weakening your options. There are 12 different scenarios, each with unique terrain configurations and troops, and you can even link them into a campaign, where the results of one battle influence the next. Prepare for the chaos of battle, hold fast in the face of opposition, and remain undaunted!
