About the game
What you do in a play session
UNO Blast takes the classic UNO experience to a whole new level of unpredictability thanks to the Electronic Card Blaster, a small device that receives cards when you can't play or choose to slot them in. Each card occupies one of five slots and, each turn, the blaster may randomly "blast," sending all accumulated cards back to the hand of the player who triggered it. This mechanic ensures you never know if you'll end up with one extra card or a handful of cards, creating constant tension. The goal remains the same as traditional UNO: be the first to discard all your cards and avoid reaching 500 points (or any agreed total). The action cards have a twist: the "Draw One" card forces the next player to draw a card from the draw pile and place it in the blaster; the "Discard Color" card lets you discard all cards of the same color at once; "Reverse" changes the direction of play; "Skip" makes the next player lose their turn; "Wild" changes the current color; and the powerful "Wild Blast" forces the next player to feed the blaster until it fires, potentially giving them up to four cards. A typical game lasts about 30 minutes, supports 2–6 players, and requires minimal rule reading, making it perfect for parties, family nights, or casual get‑togethers. The device runs on three AA batteries and goes into hibernation after three minutes of inactivity, so a quick press of the Reset button brings it back to life. If the draw pile runs out, simply reshuffle the discard pile. In short, UNO Blast blends familiar UNO gameplay with an electronic surprise element that keeps everyone on the edge of their seat.
