About the game

What you do in a play session

Are your little ones ready to dive into the fun world of card games? UNO Junior is the perfect gateway! Designed for kids aged 3 and up, this simplified version of the classic UNO swaps numbers for super cute animals, making everything more visual and easier for youngsters to grasp. The goal remains the same: be the first to get rid of all your cards, but here the fun is guaranteed with vibrant illustrations and adapted rules. At the start of the game, each player receives five cards, and the rest form a draw pile. One card is flipped over to start the discard pile, and the game begins! On your turn, you need to match the top card of the discard pile with a card from your hand, either by color, by the animal, or, in some versions, by a specific symbol. If you can't make a match, it's time to draw a card from the pile. The excitement builds when you're down to just one card in hand, and the rule of shouting 'UNO!' still applies! If you forget and someone challenges you, you draw two cards. The first player to empty their hand wins the round, and the joy is contagious. With 56 cards and clear instructions, UNO Junior is ideal for introducing concepts of matching and decision-making in a playful way, without the complexity of numbers, focusing on family fun and interaction. It's a chance to create memories and laughter with the little ones as they learn to play one of the world's most beloved card games.
