In Walls of York, you step into the shoes of an architect tasked with defending the city against dreaded Viking raids. The city already has its basic structures, but a strong wall is needed to ensure safety. The king is watching, and only the best design will be chosen for construction. Your challenge is to use wall pieces to enclose important buildings, following the king's orders and trying to outsmart your opponents. Each round, a die determines which types of walls you can use, and strategy comes into play to fit the pieces in the best way possible on your individual modular board. But beware! The Vikings don't wait and will attack at the end of the first age, destroying part of what you've built. In the second age, everything starts anew, and you'll have to rebuild your defenses. The architect who accumulates the most coins by the end of the second age will be crowned the master builder. It's a family game with simple rules, but it requires planning and adaptation in each game, as the board changes and objectives can vary. Get ready for a construction and defense challenge with a puzzle twist!
