About the game
Ever had that feeling of taking all the profit from one business and investing it in something even more ambitious? That's exactly what happens in Whistle Mountain. Forget the train tracks of Whistle Stop; now, the goal is to hit the skies! You take control of a company that has decided to exploit the riches of the Rocky Mountains using a fleet of blimps, hot air balloons, and flying dreadnoughts. The core of the game is pure strategy: you must allocate your workers to build crazy structures, scaffolds, and complex machinery to extract precious resources.

But it's not just about placing tiles and relaxing. The game features a constant tension element: as you build, the snow at the mountain's peak melts, causing the water level below to rise. This means the board changes dynamically, and your workers could end up in danger if you don't plan your ascent carefully. It's a race against time and your opponents.

The real joy lies in the balance. Will you spend your resources to upgrade your airships and improve your workers' efficiency, or will you focus on building contraptions as quickly as possible to secure victory? Since the available resources depend on what each player builds, no two games are ever the same. If you enjoy worker placement games with a spatial puzzle twist (thanks to the polyominoes) and a hint of panic caused by the rising flood, Whistle Mountain is for you. Prepare your fleet, organize your workers, and try not to drown your profits on the climb up the mountain!
