About the game
Get ready to travel back to 1893 Chicago, where you step into the shoes of an organizer of the legendary World's Fair. Your goal? Turn this event into an unforgettable spectacle and, of course, ensure your reputation is the highest of them all. To achieve this, you'll need strategy and a keen business sense, deploying your supporters across five distinct areas of the fair, such as Electricity and Fine Arts, to gain influence and approve the best exhibits.

The gameplay is snappy: on each turn, you send a supporter to an area and collect all the available cards there. But be careful, as not all cards are created equal! Some are exhibit proposals, others are influential people who can grant you extra supporters, and there are also tickets for the Midway attractions. The game is split into three scoring rounds, which are triggered whenever the group collectively collects a specific number of Midway tickets.

The competition is fierce because influence is the key to everything. Whoever dominates an area not only earns reputation points but also gains approval for the exhibit proposals that match that specific sector. At the end of the fair, victory goes to the player who achieved the greatest diversity and breadth of approved exhibits, proving their planning was the most comprehensive. It's a game of resource management and timing, where you must balance collecting tickets to speed up scoring or waiting for the perfect moment to dominate an area and secure your cards. With accessible rules and a fascinating theme, World's Fair 1893 puts you in charge of one of the most iconic events in modern history.
