About the game

What you do in a play session

World War II: Tank Combat puts you in charge of a tank squadron – German or Soviet – battling across the Eastern European front. Each unit is represented by a card detailing speed, armor, firepower and other stats, and orders are written secretly on those same cards. When both players reveal their choices simultaneously, tanks move, turn and fire according to programmed movement rules. The board consists of two double‑sided hexagonal maps covered with terrain tiles that simulate forests, hills and rivers, affecting line of sight and cover. Combat is resolved with dice: one die determines hit success, another handles damage, and extra dice cover special effects like mechanical failures. The box contains six 1/100 scale miniatures, four double‑sided boards, a plethora of terrain tiles, order cards, water markers for flooded zones, and a set of ten dice. In about 30 minutes, players test their ability to read terrain, hit weak flanks and balance speed against armor. The game is easy to learn yet offers enough tactical depth that each match feels fresh. Perfect for those who love miniatures without the massive army management of larger wargames, and for anyone wanting a taste of WWII tank combat in intense duels. While strictly a two‑player experience, the component quality and clear rules make it rewarding even for newcomers to the genre.
