About the game
What you do in a play session
Imagine you and your friends are at school, but there's a huge problem: zombies have invaded! To make matters worse, the custodian has simply given up and left, leaving the entrances wide open. That's where you come in with Zombie Kidz Evolution. The goal is simple yet tense: you must work together to lock the four school entrances and kick those undead creatures out. If the zombie reserve runs out and another zombie needs to enter, the school is overrun, and it's game over for everyone.
The big differentiator here is that this is a 'Legacy' style game designed for kids. What does that mean? The game evolves! As you win matches and complete missions, you earn trophy stickers—very similar to video game achievements—and, most excitingly, you get to open secret envelopes. Inside these envelopes, new heroes, fresh powers, and tougher challenges emerge. In other words, the gaming experience isn't the same as the first match; it grows and transforms along with the players' skills.
On a day-to-day basis, gameplay involves moving your characters through rooms and hallways, rolling dice to fight zombies, and planning the best cooperative strategy to prevent the school from being overrun. It's a perfect gateway to introduce more complex mechanics to children, mixing the luck of the dice with the satisfaction of seeing physical progress on the board. It's fast, fun, and keeps everyone engaged, wondering 'what's in the next envelope?'. If you're looking for something to get kids away from their tablets and get them thinking as a team with a light, funny horror theme, this is the right game.
