In Agency, you and your partner have been assigned a secret mission: infiltrate a rival organization. The catch? They've had the same idea about you! Prepare for a tense and strategic card game where communication is key, but you can't say it all.
Agency is a 4-player partnership trick-taking game. The big twist here is that you don't have your own hand of cards; you share hands with your neighboring opponents (the ones to your left and right). Your partner, naturally, sits across the table. The goal is to accumulate points through specific scoring cards, rather than just winning tricks. In the black suits, 3s and 7s are worth 2 points, and 5s are worth 4 points.
The rules are straightforward: you must follow suit if you can, but you can play a trump card or even a "Wall" card. Walls are a unique element: they don't win tricks, don't have inherent point values (except when used to score a trick), and are used to separate the shared hands. They can be played at any time, unless another Wall has already been played in the trick, but can only be led if you have no other options. If someone plays a Wall, the next player sets the lead suit. It's a quick game, with matches lasting between 20 and 40 minutes, perfect for those who enjoy a dose of bluffing and team coordination.
