In Airport Rush, you step into the shoes of a busy airport manager, competing to be the most efficient at getting planes off the ground. Each round, players draft available cargo dice to fulfill the requirements of planes waiting in their hangars. The challenge lies in choosing the right dice to optimize your takeoffs, as you can only send one plane at a time. This strategic decision is crucial: which plane to prioritize to maximize your points and personal objectives?
Beyond managing cargo, you'll also have access to two types of cards: Plane cards, which offer more scoring opportunities and dice usage, and Action cards, which allow you to speed up processes and gain tactical advantages. But not everything is smooth sailing in the aviation world! Event cards can pop up, bringing unforeseen challenges like bad weather and delays that affect everyone, adding a layer of unpredictability and challenge to the game.
The game continues until one player successfully takes off seven planes. After a final round for all players, points are tallied, considering both the planes taken off and individual objectives. The airport manager with the highest score is declared the winner. Airport Rush is a strategy game featuring dice rolling and drafting that puts you to the test: do you have what it takes to maintain order and efficiency during rush hour?
